


The Spatial Information Committee (SICOM) provides a forum in South Australia for information exchange and discussion on all issues associated with spatial information. SICOM plays a significant role in the promotion of the applications and benefits of spatial information to all tiers of Government, industry, education and the wider community.
Current membership comprises representatives from Local, State and Commonwealth Government, education, private industry through Australian Spatial Information Business Association (ASIBA) and the Spatial Sciences Institute (SSI). This membership brings together a wide range of organisations involved in the spatial information industry and provides opportunities to influence spatial information development in the State.
The purpose of SICOM is:
to provide a forum for the exchange of information on spatial activities between a broad cross section of the South Australian spatial community.
